Songs of Potential Embrace (2017)
Top 10 On the ZMR music chart in 2017!
This recording is an eclectic collection of instrumental music featuring 16 songs: 12 new ones and 4 re-mixes from older material. Ten of the songs comprised the soundtrack for the modern dance performances of Potential Embrace, by Rogelio Lopez and dancers.
I wrote, played and mixed all the music, much of which contains found sounds, pianos (grands & an 1800's standup), guitars (baritone, harp and others), synth, percussion, violin, sometimes mixed with vacuum cleaners, babies cries, telephones and more? Yum!

Shadowlands (2005)
i was historically a singer-songwriter, but this collection of avant garde pieces flowed out of me and i followed and recorded them; there are many "found sounds" and rhythms in this experimental album.
Strangers & Angels (1998)
this singer-songwriter album was recorded and produced by warren kahn and contains songs included in my presentations to various high schools and conferences. musicians also include: alice dimicele, stephen duffy, tom payne and bob timney.
Patterns Yet Unknown (1992)
remastered to CD in 1997, this singer-songwriter album contains songs composed during my time on The Global Walk, a year-long walk across the united states. it features musicians mary hofer, james jacobs and irene sazer.
Traditional Xmas Melodies (2010)
recorded at home after the arrival of my full-sized grand piano, this album became one of an inspiration for Playing With Shadows. it was downloadable for free on my website and it was ultimately downloaded thousands of times. i'll do my best to have a free link to the tracks from this CD by next xmas.
Our Children's Only Home (1990)
recorded the year i walked across the country with The Global Walk (1990) on a tascam reel-to-reel 8-track, this (cassette!) featured 10 songs which never made it to CD, and was later was digitized by Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, Ca. my second full-length album, some people actually still have copies of it but when i see one, i do my best to hide it from them.
